TIMOR-LESTE, 4W. Alan, VK1AO is QRV as 4W/VK1AO from Mount Tatamailau, the highest summit of the country, as well as some POTA sites, until September 4. Activity is on 40 to 10 meters using CW and FT8. QSL via LoTW.

 

MALDIVES, 8Q. Zhao, BG4JMI is QRV as 8Q7JM until November 1 while on work assignment. Activity is in his spare time. QSL to home call.

 

MOROCCO, CN. Special event station 5E61GJ is QRV until August 25 to celebrate the 61st anniversary of the birth of His Majesty King Muhammed VI, and Youth Day as well. QSL via CN8WW. Other Moroccan stations may use the 5E61 prefix from their own stations.

 

ST. PAUL ISLAND, CY9. A group of operators will be QRV as CY9C from August 26 to September 5. Activity will be on 160 to 6 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY, and SuperFox FT8. This includes some EME and Satellite activity. QSL via WA4DAN.

 

CAPE VERDE, D4. Alex, SQ9UM is QRV as D4UM from Sal Island, IOTA AF-086, until August 26. Activity is on 80 to 6 meters using CW, SSB, FT8, and FT4. QSL to home call.

 

SOUTH COOK ISLANDS, E5. Bob, ZL1RS is QRV as E51EME from Rarotonga, IOTA OC-013, Grid Square BG08, until September 15. Activity is focused on 6 meters using FT8 via ionospheric propagation, and 6 meter EME using Q65/60A. QSL via LoTW.

 

ARMENIA, EK. Artem, R2GEO is QRV as EK/R2GEO from Yerevan. Activity is on 40 and 20 meters using SSB and various digital modes. QSL to home call.

 

GUADELOUPE, FG. Thierry, F4IDN is QRV as FG/F4IDN near Capesterre Belle Eau until September 15. Activity is on 40 to 10 meters using SSB and digital modes. This includes being active from POTA site GP0001. QSL to home call.

 

ALAND ISLANDS, OH0. Martti, OH2BH will be QRV as OH0B on August 24 and 25. Activity will be on the HF bands using CW. QSL to home call.

 

AMERICAN SAMOA, KH8. Rikk, WE9G is QRV as WE9G/KH8 from Tutuila, IOTA OC-045, until August 29. Activity is on 40 to 10 meters using mostly FT8. QSL to home call.

 

MARKET REEF, OJ0. Henri, OH3JR is QRV as OJ0JR until August 24. Activity is in his spare time on 40 to 10 meters using CW and FT8. QSL via LoTW.

 

SEYCHELLES, S7. Holger, DG3FEH is QRV as S79/DG3FEH from Mahe, IOTA AF-024, until August 27. Activity is holiday style using SSB mainly on 40, 20, and 15 meters, and on Satellite QO-100. QSL to home call.

 

GREECE, SV. Francesco, IK6QON will be QRV as SV8/IK6QON from Milos Island, IOTA EU-067, until August 31. Activity is holiday style on the HF bands. QSL to home call.

 

CORSICA, TK. Herve, F4LDJ is QRV as TK/F4LDJ until August 31. Activity is holiday style on 40, 20, and 10 meters using SSB. QSL via LoTW.

 

MALI, TZ. Jeff, K1MMB is QRV as TZ4AM from Bamako. Activity is on the HF bands and 6 meters. QSL via KX4R.

 

NAMIBIA, V5. Andreas, DB8UX is QRV as V51/DB8UX. Activity is on the HF bands using FT8. His length of stay is unknown. QSL to home call.

 

CANADA, VE. Thomas, DC8TM and Martina, DF3TS will be QRV as VO1/DC8TM/p and VO1/DF3TS/p, respectively, from Newfoundland, IOTA NA-027, on August 24 to 30. Activity will be on the HF bands using SSB and FT8 from various POTA, SOTA, and Lighthouse sites. QSL via operators' instructions.

 

INDIA, VU. Special event station AT78I is QRV until November 13 to celebrate 78 years of independence for India. Activity is on the HF bands using CW and SSB. QSL via VU2JOS. In addition, Kaustav, VU2UUU is QRV with special call sign AT2SPACE until the end of August to commemorate India's National Space Day. QSL to home call.

 

VANUATU, YJ. A group of operators are QRV as YJ0VK from Efate, IOTA OC-035, until August 26. Activity is on 40 to 6 meters using CW and FT8. QSL via M0OXO.

 

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. ARRL EME Contest, U.S. Islands QSO Party, World Wide Digi DX Contest, QRP 20-Meter CW Fox Hunt, NCCC FT4 Sprint, Weekly RTTY Test, NCCC CW Sprint, K1USN Slow Speed CW Test, SCRY/RTTYOps World Wide RTTY Contest, Hawaii QSO Party, ALARA Contest, YO DX HF Contest, Kansas QSO Party, Ohio QSO Party, CVA DX SSB Contest and the SARL HF CW Contest will certainly keep contesters busy this upcoming weekend.

 

The K1USN Slow Speed CW Test, QCX CW Challenge, ICWC Medium Speed CW Test, OK1WC Memorial, Worldwide Sideband Activity Contest, SKCC CW Sprint, Phone Weekly Test, A1Club AWT, CWops Test, Mini-Test 40 CW and the Mini-Test 80 CW are on tap for August 26 to 28.
