Field Day June 21-23 is rapidly approaching. (Corrected dates: 22-23 June 2024).

Field Day is the largest emergency communications exercise in the world.
Clubs and individual hams set up portable stations and then test the
effectiveness of their stations by trying to make as many contacts as
possible in a 24 hour period. For us, the operating event starts at 8am
Saturday June 22.

If you belong to a local club, please support them and help get them on
the air for Field Day. So far, only two HI clubs have shown support by
registering at ARRL: KH6CE (EARC, O'ahu) and KH6RS on Maui. We need
more. Please get your club to register and get active.

You do not need HF privileges to participate at a club since each club
should have an Extra class control operator who can introduce you to how
it all works. It's an excellent opportunity to experience the HF bands.

For individuals not operating with a club, you can operate from home or
as a field emergency station such as a mobile or portable station.
