The Hawaii VOAD Maunakea 146.72 MHz repeater will be removed from Maunakea on April 26, 2024 and stored on the Big Island until another suitable location is found and agreements made.

Hawaii VOAD, its members, partners and people of Hawai`i whom it has served thank IfA, CMS, MKSS and the Mauna Kea stewardship and oversight authority for allowing us to use the location on Maunakea for the repeater. Furthermore, we express gratitude for their steadfast support of the effort of Hawaii VOAD to provide disaster communication capability to the people.

Thank you and stay safe,
